Scholarships are awarded based on overall character. Factors include:

• Community Service
• Extracurricular Activities
• Examples of Leadership and Growth
• Minimum G.P.A. 3.0
• Evanston resident or local connection

Meet Our Scholars

Over the past 67 years, the Chessmen Club has provided students with scholarships so they can attend college or vocational schools. Our scholars embody the Chessmen’s values of having a good work ethic, helping others, giving back to the community, and striving to serve as positive role models.
